My virus is stronger than yours!

Viruses need a living cell to multiply and produce offspring because they do not have the energy or their own proteins and enzymes that are necessary for replication. Even though they are not adjusted for life outside the host cell, viruses can "last" for a while even outside the host cell! Depending on the surface on which they are located and the temperature and humidity conditions, some will last longer and some shorter.

Therefore, take care of how you cough or sneeze and where you put away your tissues when you have a cold!
